Interesting day downtown.

I like wandering around Toronto like a tourist. I am always amazed with the sites I see. There are some hidden gems scattered around the city. Old City Hall’s architecture is one. Just around the block from The Bay at Richmond and Yonge. Go east and there you are. Take a close look at the building sometime.
The lion’s are great fun. Everyone goes down and takes a quick look at Old
City Hall and then rapidly moves on to the “new” City Hall. Even locals tend to ignore this treat. I enjoy wandering down here once in awhile. Saturday a bagpipe player was playing in fro
nt of the arches. He wasn’t particularly good, but he looked okay in his kilt. There is always someone in the area to entertain you. I don’t mind as long as they are not amplified. The lions are posted on the arches. Don’t forget to stop and enjoy them.
grow up with? Not enough, evidently. I’ve walked by these windows innumerable times and never really noticed them. Shame really.
I have more images to post but I’m wasting a beautiful day by sitting inside. Time to go to a cafe for a nice latte and enjoy the sun. I’ll post more later. And maybe as a treat I’ll tell you about my little
stumpy legged friend Bonnie.
