Two days of heat and smog and I’m already fed up. I’m afraid I am not a heat seeker. Days like this I just want to lay around and not move. I don’t do well in heat. Migraine is still lurking around the edges of my brain. This makes for a very grumpy cat indeed.
Good news is the weather should break sometime this evening. If that is true I’ll be able to pad out to the balcony and enjoy the air. Right now its very hazy.
It wasn’t until recently that I realised how much the smog triggers migraines. I’m lucky - chocolate and coffee have never been a problem. I mean the 2 major food groups? I could never survive without them. But smog is a much more pervasive problem. Step outside to head off to work and whamo - the effect kicks in pretty quickly. I’ve had kidney stones and I suffer from migraines - I’d rather have the kidney stones.
At least the visual disturbances have lifted. Much better.

I accidentally stumbled on your blog, I have been a long time sufferer of migraines and only have recently discovered that heat and smog are big triggers for me, and guess where i have been living for the past 4.5 years? Los Angeles, California. go figure. i knew i hated this place
anyways, i’m sure you’re experiencing a beautiful crisp fall where you are (i’m not yet)
LA doesn’t know there are suppose to be seasons) i googled, hot weather and migraines and there was your blog!
im sorry you have this trigger but i’m also a little relieved that i am not the only one. im definitely going to try to move soon tho!
