Didn’t see this coming

Wish I had been in Manchester yesterday for the Man City win over United.

I have a confession to make… I am a secret Man City fan. Although I am an Arsenal fan, I always root for Man City, even if they play Arsenal. They’ve spent so long on the wrong end of a win, I can’t help but hope they win.

They won big yesterday. 1 - 0. Good for them. After the disasterous ’90’s, having been relegated 2 times and a very rocky millenium start, (last year being of particular note), its great to see them win so big yesterday. I know it doesn’t seem like a huge win, but to a team that has struggled so much - its almost like winning the Derby. Don’t know what Eriksson has put in Man City players wheaties, but it is working. They are now sitting pretty with 3 wins.

What is truly good about this win, is it wasn’t a one shot wonder. Man City played a consistent game. This was no lucky goal.

Man City is now sitting at the top of the heap. Hope they stay there. Manchester fans really need this. Besides, if Arsenal isn’t top, then I want anyone but Chelsea.
