New day, new home, same old blog

The agonies of moving house. Decided to find a new home for my modest little blog. This site offers me more to play with. If anything I am a constant tinkerer.

I have to admit I was also more than a bit upset with the amount of hardcore porn that kept popping up at my old place. I cringed when I hit the “next blog” button – nearly 1 out of every 7 clicks offered up some pretty disgusting images. I don’t like being associated with that stuff and I don’t want to have to worry about any of my readers inadvertently landing on such a spot through association with my site. I did launch some complaints (I logged nearly 15 porn sites in less than an hour) to the host but I know it takes a long time to take action.  I didn’t go looking for these pages – they were so in my face that I was really pissed. So I moved.

I love all the new toys I can inflict upon you. But don’t worry, I’ll be gentle. Not all of the links work yet. I’ve been busy tinkering with the interface and creating a banners for each page. What can I say, it keeps me off the streets.

I’ve been busy now since 7:30 this morning and its now nearly 1pm. Time to leave for a bit. Off to the cafe for a bite to eat and to clear my head.
