Slightly grumpy with an aversion to noise.

Oh my poor, poor readers

My poor audience. Its so hard readjusting to a new location isn’t it? Like my new home?
Apologies for the links that don’t work. This is still a work in progress.

Anyway, thought I’d update you on the site. As you have seen, there is new stuff hanging around the edges of the page. Sorry - I’m experimenting with the various tools out there to help bloggers, plus I’m fooling around with the “make $” widgets. Hee hee… so far I’ve made a whopping .11 cents. Some of the features will come and go over the coming weeks. I have customers that are curious about a lot of this stuff so I decided to use my blog as my mad lab and you my dear readers are my guinea pigs. You get to see all the sad results. I’ll keep you posted on what works and what turns into a huge embarrassment. I’m working on a new blog to detail this. I’ll attach it to the table of contents at a later date.

I’m also working on a new blog campaign - Urban Action for a Quieter Neigbourhood. In speaking with others, I’ve discovered a lot of people are fed up with the rising cacophony assaulting us daily. Do we really need so much loud music? Do cars have to have special mufflers that allow them to make a joke of the purpose of mufflers - the sound level coming out of some of these vehicles is frightening.? Are you fed up with being treated like a weird little Martian for politely asking the volume to be turned down? You are not alone. I am working on a poster and flyer for distribution. Something nice to hand out to restaurants outlining grievances against the noise.

Oh sometimes it’s good to be obsessive-compulsive! So many streams of thought now have a home and audience.

Stumble it!
