That's the dark side my friend! LOL. Even on a new PC Vista can act pretty piggish - it needs a lot of ram to run and a whack of programs that run behind the scenes shut off. A mac? We have read that most people who like Vista have newer computers--probably because of the processing speed. We haven't had problems with it, but then, we are on a mac running bootcamp so it's our first Windows platform! Congrats on your new computer.
