What the hell is going on out there? I just stumbled across a noxious website that is claiming to be an online “girl games for girls”. It’s called Miss Bimbo. Yes you read that correctly – Miss Bimbo a virtual fashion game.
I don’t even need to go any further to understand what is going on with this ‘game’. First it isn’t a game – it’s a method of brainwashing young girls into believing thin is best, big boobs are great and girls/women are bimbos. It’s also a great way of programming young boys into thinking the worst about girls and women.
Let’s look at the word bimbo – according to the Oxford Concise Dictionary Bimbo is defined as:
• noun (pl. bimbos) informal, derogatory- an attractive but unintelligent or frivolous young woman.
Oh this is definitely a game I’m going to want my impressionable niece playing – let’s just bump up her self esteem by having her play a game that identifies women as pretty but stupid.
I registered to see what the game was really like – the first image you are greeted with is a big boobed young girl in a bunny suit. You just know where that influence came from – can we say playboy bunny real fast?
On the main page, the owners of the site have put up a notice that due to public pressure, you can no longer buy diet pills for your bimbo. Hmmm ….. this is a game for girls? Diet pills, bunny suits, derogatory title about women? Gee guess how old the designers are? Teenage boys would show more respect than the designers of this nonsense.
I signed up for an account to see what was really going on. Here’s what I found:
Your girl starts out with an IQ of 70. Real flattering, a borderline intelligence and 1000 bimbo dollars. Let’s reinforce that stereotype! Let’s go shopping now – after all you start with a big boobed, naked bimbo. Buy food, soda, water, pets, clothes etc. So far harmless eh? Change the name from Bimbo to something rational and I might buy this as a fairly harmless game. But having a ’sexy yellow top’ right beside the ’schoolgirl top’ sends seriously mixed messages out to young girls. This has more to do with an immature young man’s dreams than reality. And don’t get me started on the lingerie section. The birthday knickers are teaching girls that being a tart is the best they can reach for.
Let’s see, what else can my bimbo buy – books … nope can’t have an intelligent girl. She might question the message being given out here. The aim of the game is pretty straight forward:
- Fashion: fashion points are given based on style.
- Attitude: gain points for having more popularity and sass with a bimbo attitude splash !
- Looks: You are judged by your bimbo’s weight, appearance and surgical operations.
Instead send her to see the plastic surgeon for breast augmentation (to augment your assets) or a face lift and psychologist or psychiatrist. Who needs brains when you have boobs to do your thinking. I’m guessing the more surgery your bimbo has, the higher the IQ goes? Lord knows it’s not going to increase with any education, that isn’t even offered . I am not joking when I say you can send your bimbo to a plastic surgeon or psychologist. This is the designers idea of a good game concept.
Yes there is a token library, but I couldn’t find any books in it. And its lost amongst the clubs, clinics, gyms etc. It’s nothing more than a false front that pretends to care about the bimbo’s IQ. Face it, the IQ is based on popularity etc, education means nothing in this world.
This game is bullshit. It presents a world where looks and popularity are all that is important. Just look at the third point – you are judged on weight, appearance and surgical operations. It’s not enough to accept a person’s looks, they must be changed and hacked apart to reach an unrealistic goal set by incredibly stupid and shallow game designers.
It is not a game for girls, it is a sick, twisted take on a mass market wet dream. I really don’t care if adults play this. Hopefully they will have the maturity to see it for what it is. But to claim it is a girl game is a pathetic joke on all of us. Don’t pretend this is a healthy game, don’t tell me it’s a fashion game – it is anything but. It is not innocent, nor is it being honest with the player. It is another way of convincing the young and impressionable that there is one type of beauty out there and this is it girls. Big breasted, stupid, skinny and malleable. Just the way the fashion industry likes its victims… er models er consumers.
Time for everyone with a brain to go to the site and start lodging complaints about their disgusting vision of girls. Go to Missbimbo.com and flood their forum with complaints and email the owners of this travesty, with your thoughts. Make it strong and clean but don’t mince words. Missbimbo should be revealed as the con job it is. It is not for girls, it is designed to keep ‘em dumb and down.

and pathetic. Someone tried to say it was ironic – it would only be ironic if it wasn’t aimed at children.

Quite horrible! It was bad enough in the beginning, but then I kept reading, and things went from bad to worse.
And the worst part is that this does reflect some societal norms…

I’m afraid you are right – pick up any fashion magazine or movie rag and what do we see? The ’stars’ dressed undressed for success. And don’t get me started on the passion for no underwear …

OK- every one reading this MUST join the site to get out the truth!! There ARE breast implants and face lifts- but they got rid of the diet pills and stuff like that! The wiki for the site explains that it is just a simpson- style comedy on reality with a girly twist. Honestly, unless you are like 7 or something, you will not be influenced by this site!!

Thank you for the update on the diet pills etc.
HOWEVER… there are legions of young girls who are influenced by sites like this. I did visit the site and play around with it for awhile. I came away with an increased sense of annoyance that this type of humour is still widely accepted – even more annoyed that young girls are being convinced breast implants and face lifts are the best way of being liked.

“Looks: You are judged by your bimbo’s weight, appearance and surgical operations.”
Not true
I play Missbimbo and it isn’t brainwashing me. I am smart enough to understand it is just a game. Like 99% of the players.Play the game and see how you like it. Don’t judge everyone there. We just want to have some fun playing a game.
The average age of the players is 19 by the way.
Anyone under 13 can’t accsess the forums.
I would also like to add that I have had conversations with some of the smartest men and women I have ever met on the MissBimbo forums, we play a game based on a stereotypical bimbo but that doesn’t mean we are one in real life, nor does it mean we aspire to be one.
