Can cats have heart attacks? Well I damn near did a few moments ago. I just received a reminder that the CNE (Canadian National Exibition) is winding up this weekend. Every year, during the last weekend of the Ex, there is an air show. Guess who just screamed overhead? Oh yes… jets from the Canadian Airforce. I swear they sounded like they were about to land on my rooftop.. oh there they go again.
HOLY CRAP… just a sec… here they come again. Well no wonder they sound like they are about to land – in all the years of seeing aircraft fly past, I have never seen jets so low over the city. And… it’s not CAF… it’s the US NAVY!! The jets are so low, roaring over the park, I can actually see the numbers on the jets…and one of the silly buggers waggled his wings as he roared over our apartments.
OI!! Flyboys!! You owe me for the latte I just spilt when you buzzed my apartment. Should I send the bill c/o Blue Angels? I want a super large latte please, with lots of foam.
They are buzzing other parts of the city now – show offs! Nothing worse than a jet pilot.
