I used to love the TTC. I loved riding the subway - getting on a streetcar and seeing where it would take me... I love public transit. I've become so disenchanted with the nightmare called the TTC in the past 5 years, I simply can't believe I use the same service. I've passed on your idea about an audit to some more folks. Hopefully there will be a groundswell that will demand better service. I’m like you. I used to love the TTC. It was a reasonable way to get around the city, and it allowed me to live downtown without even getting a driver's license for a long time (a very convenient excuse if you don't like to be the designated driver :-). Still, lately I can't help thinking that they are just toying with us, because they can. If not, then they've got a pretty sever case of "incompetence". Paul. Great post :-)
